The thing to think of when gardening is to start out small. A small plant bed, around 20 or 25 ft squared is ideal, its just sufficient room for almost 30 plants. Whenever you purchase seeds plant them according to the instructions. When your picking plants, select ones with green, wholesome looking leaves and stalks and healthy roots. Arrange the smaller plantings towards the front of the bed and bigger ones into the back. The key to successfully starting gardening is planting at the correct time. Make a point and hold off until the frosts are finished before planting.
